OUR HEART FOR MISSIONS

Jesus' final command was clear: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). At Community Baptist Church, we believe this calling belongs to every follower of Christ. Whether across the street or across the world, God invites His people to share the hope of the gospel and make disciples wherever He sends them.

Our vision is to be a church for Graham and beyond. We are committed to serving our community, supporting church planting efforts, partnering with missionaries, and taking the good news of Jesus to people both near and far. Through local outreach, national partnerships, and international mission trips, we seek to demonstrate the love of Christ in both word and action.

As Jesus told His disciples, “You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). We see Graham as our Jerusalem, our surrounding communities as our Judea and Samaria, and the nations as our mission field. Our prayer is that every person at Community Baptist would discover their role in God's mission and join Him in reaching the world with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.

How Can You
Get Involved?

Everyone has a role to play in God’s mission. Here’s how you can be part of it:

Pray

for our local and global mission partners.

Give

financially to support missions work.

Go

by joining a local outreach project or a short-term mission trip.

Send

encouragement, care packages, or support to those serving full-time in the field.

LOCAL OUTREACH

These are ministries started by Community Baptist Church or local to the Graham area that provide an ongoing outreach into the community to meet physical and spiritual needs.

Love Week is our intentional, church-wide effort to share the life‑giving and life‑changing gospel of Jesus Christ with our community. As one united body of believers, we step outside the walls of our building and live out the Great Commission in practical, compassionate ways. Throughout the week, we serve our neighbors, meet real needs, and show the love of Christ because we believe people are far more open to the message of Jesus when they first experience the genuine care of His people.

Piedmont Rescue Mission is a Christ-centered ministry serving individuals and families throughout Alamance County who are facing homelessness, poverty, addiction, and other life challenges. Through residential recovery programs, family support services, community outreach, and discipleship, the mission seeks to meet both physical and spiritual needs. Their goal is not only to provide immediate assistance but also to help people experience lasting life change through faith, personal growth, and practical support. By offering hope, encouragement, and pathways to self-sufficiency, Piedmont Rescue Mission works to restore lives, strengthen families, and impact the community for the glory of God.
