The Gospel of John: Jesus is the Light of God

In this message Pastor Nick continues to dive into John 1 with a focus on John 1:5-13. John reminds us that when the Light shines, darkness can’t overcome it (John 1:5). We saw that ministry is all about pointing people to Jesus like John the Baptist did (John 1:6–8), that Jesus is the true Light the world is searching for (John 1:9), and that many rejected Him—even His own (John 1:10–11). But the message ends with hope: anyone who receives Christ by faith can become a child of God—not by background or effort, but by God’s mercy and grace (John 1:12–13). The question we left with was simple: What will you do with the Light?
